1/7/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL

25/6/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL
Today, the first thing i said to my team members is that we would start to edit our movie. Tess asked me if I know how to edit a movie. I answered movie maker, but i don't really know how to do that.Me and Tess got straight to work.
So far today in the lesson, i have made our twister board, well its almost done. I just have to create the twister arrow and make it spin.
Tess has started putting the video together. The beginning credits, the movie, and we have made decisions on how our movie is going to be put together.
An introduction, then the word 'TWISTER' pops up, then the twister board, then it gets to the movie with music playing in the background and the music in our end credits and so on.

23/6/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL
Today our IT teacher came straight up to our group in the corner to see what we had done on the weekend. She asked us this because we had told her the previous lesson that we were going to record on the weekend.We showed her one of our videos and she said that it was great work.
Today we had a little complications with the videos because the videos were saved on her USB and her computer was not working. Natalie ended up going on two computer and we started working on our videos then.
So basically we had spent this whole IT lesson doing nothing but watching the videos and Melanie and I were spending most of the time just cacking ourselves just by reading Natalie's post blogs because of her miss-spelt errors. IT WAS HILARIOUS!! (in my opinion, and Melanie's)

21/6/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL
Today our whole IT group went to Natalie's house so that we could start recording our video.A problem that occured was that I arrived at her house late because I had to clean my house and that took a bit of time. Since I live just a block away from Natalie's house, i ended up running as fast as I could to her house and I just got there in time. As soon as i got there, I see that the rest of our group members were already there. They were on their way to look at the parks around the neighborhood to see if any of those parks would be a good location to record. We then decided that if we kept on walking back and forth from the park, we woulod be wasting time. We then decided that we would record in Natalie's driveway. So we got recording straight away.
We ended up playing and recording three twister games. It was fun.
Once we has finished recording, we went inside her house and started watching the three videos we had recorded.
We then said that we would think it was best for all of us to edit our movie at school because the school computers are much faster then any of our coomputers we own at home.
well i'll keep you posted and yeah....till then.

20/6/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL
Ok so, before we even get into class, Mr Lennon asked us if we were all organised for filming and how with what. Natalie, Melanie and I started to explain what we were doing. We are going to start filming tomorrow at Natalie's house and once we have filmed, we will edit our movie.Mr Lennon asked us with what we were recording with. We told him that we were recording with Natalie's camera.
Tess wasn't explaining anything because she was not here today. She is on an excursion.
When we had told Mr Lennon what was happening, he told what complications would occur. One of the problems was that Natalie's USB could not hold all MP3 files. We would have to convert the movie from MP3, to WMA file.
Natalie is now at her computer with Mr Lennon helping her how to get a resource file to convert this file.

The only thing that we are thinking of doing now is just going over our story board and try to edit it. What we are panning to do tomorrow is once we have filmed, we would continue to add adjustments to our story board and keep on posting what we had done.

18/6/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL
I have not yet explained what me and my group have decided to do for our assignment video. Well we have decided a long time ago that we would play the game twister for our video. Its simple and it would also be fun to record. Earlier i have put on a video that has explained that when we are going to spin the twister board, we would make it animated and it would gradually get larger, then shrink, just like when batman goes to his Batmobil.===============================================
My group and I have not yet created our storyboard. We had started working on it on Tess' computer, but apparently, last lesson when we were working on it, Tess forgot to save it. Right now, melanie is on Tess' computer behind me working on the storyboard, Tess is at Nat's computer helping her with something, and I am posting. In will get back to posting and soon i will post more.

While we were making our storyboards, more ideas came to mind. All the details are on our storyboards with pictures to demonstrate what we mean, our demo's.
We have decided that we will have background music while we are playing and we have also decided what colours we will be in the game, where we will go to record this video (Nat's house because she has the twister game), how the process of the video will go: the intro and how we get into the game.
One of the process of our video is that our twister board will cotinuously appear when we spin the board, it will happen every time we choose the next move.

11/6/08 - TWISTER COMERCIAL
This is my first blog pst in a few lessons.Every other lesson i have had a few issues with my computer....my internet would not work. It just wouldn't. So...for that whole lesson i was just looking onto natalie'a computer. The lesson after that, the very same thing happend with my computer again. Mr Lennon told me to move computers and i did. So i moved computers and Tess and I were working on a short video that we will put in our Assignment video. The test run is on the blog post below this one.
Today the very same thing....(again!) happend with my computer...it wouldnt work.....so then i restarted my computer....logged back on....it wouldn'y work again....shut it down.....started it again and it still wouldnt work. Melanie also had this problem with her computer.
So we switched computers and as soon as i got on here, I started posting straight away.
Tess had told me that while me and Melanie were having the feud the computers and whiel Mr Lennon was tr ying to fix them, Melanie and Tess had worked on the Gantt Chart.
So now that the Gantt Chart is finished, i will make some links on my blog and get the Gantt Chart of one of theirn blogs.
